Engineering Design (China) Ltd. In January of 1999, IDC
formed a joint venture design company with the Eleventh Design and
Research Institute (EDRI). It is believe to be the first joint
venture design firm in China to be granted Class A status for electronics
projects. In addition to IDC offices in Shanghai, Tianjin, and Suzhou,
the joint venture utilizes the resources of EDRI's 800 staff
located in 14 offices throughout China to provide engineering and
design services on a local basis. Services include:
