Recent Project
Confidential Coffee Manufacturer
IDC recently led a multi-country site selection effort for a new manufacturing facility in Europe, resulting in the selection of a greenfield site in The Netherlands. Our role included the development of site criteria covering a wide range of issues, sourcing of sites through government economic development agencies and independent brokers, evaluation of sites for adherence to the criteria, coordination of visits to final candidate sites, identification of permitting and other regulatory requirements, and technical evaluation of suitability for each of the final sites. Subsequent tasks included the preparation of building and environmental permit applications as well as other site due diligence activities such as the development of a preliminary design package identifying process and building configuration, utility requirements, etc.
