Efficient delivery of constructed projects through a range of contract methodologies. IDC's construction services include:

Program Management - Coordination and control of multiple resources for large complex projects or multiple projects to be managed together.

Construction Management - Management of a construction project using the latest tools and techniques including Primavera products, web-based project collaboration systems, cost and schedule controls, and document management systems. Contract administration services available. Construction safety expertise with experience modification rates far below industry averages.

Detailed Estimating - Preparation of a definitive construction cost estimate from completed design documents.

Procurement/Expediting - In-house procurement services including prequalifying vendors and contractors; developing commercial terms and conditions, project insurance and bonding; soliciting bids; awarding and issuing purchase orders and contracts; cost and change control; expediting for goods, services, materials, and submittals; on-site materials management and control; project completion and close-out certification; warranty claims and service. Contract specialists for construction negotiations.

Cost/Schedule Control - Utilizing the latest PC tools such as Primavera and JD Edwards to monitor and manage project costs and schedule.

Quality Control - Formal quality control system using established procedures that include quality checklists, internal design reviews, field observations by design teams, and trained construction supervision. Each construction project has a QC manual with testing procedures and compliance documentation established prior to construction. Pre- and postconstruction project evaluations are performed with our project teams and with our clients.

Safety/Security - Establishment of minimum safety standards to eliminate hazardous conditions and unsafe practices on site, as well as security precautions. Safety is the Number 1 priority on our construction sites, and top consideration is given to subcontractors with outstanding safety records. Mandatory and/or random drug testing is used for all employees and contractors.

Commissioning and Startup - Development of startup sequence, coordination of vendor and contractor assistance, performance of functional acceptance testing (FAT), development of operations procedures, and operator training. Development of startup manuals with testing observations and performance measurements.

Project Closeout - End-of-project tasks such as final contractor payments, warranty transfers, and lien waivers.
