Food Processing & Consumer Products Marketing Specialist Joins
Global Design/Construction Firm
Industrial Design & Construction (IDC) has announced the addition
of Jeff Cross to its food processing and consumer products division.
Mr. Cross is a marketing and food processing equipment specialist
with 17 years of experience in the food processing industry. From
his base in IDC’s Portland, Oregon office, Mr. Cross will serve
IDC clients worldwide. IDC has 17 offices in the U.S., Europe and
Asia.
Mr. Cross’ broad experience in project management, equipment
procurement, manufacturing planning, and food plant operations and
maintenance was of particular interest to IDC, which provides complete
facility design and construction services from a single source.
Mr. Cross is also heavily experienced in serving Asian and Latin
American food processors, which complements IDC’s strategy
to increase project activities in that part of the world. Mr. Cross
is fluent in Spanish.
Mr. Cross’ background includes extensive experience with a
wide range of food processing and packaging clients, including those
involved in meat and poultry, dairy, household products, snack foods
and frozen food industries. He is the former General Manager and
Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Intech Enterprises Inc.,
where he managed sales, engineering, production and client service.
He has also served as a Vice President of the International Division
of Custom Food Machinery.
One of Mr. Cross’ distinctive areas of expertise is his ability
to locate and install equipment at considerable savings to food
and consumer products manufacturers. In repeated cases, he has used
his vast network of contacts among new and used equipment suppliers
to locate specialized processing and packaging equipment at great
savings to clients.
