GE Aircraft Engines
Ohio and Massachusetts

Assembly, manufacturing and repair facilities for aircraft engines and other aviation-related parts.
Five-year contract to provide facility management services to G.E. Aircraft Engines and its subsidiaries. The contract is on a time and material basis with negotiated labor multipliers and mark-ups. IDC provided on-site representation for facilities in Evendale and Peebles, Ohio; and Lynn, Massachusetts. In total, IDC has demolished and refurbished over a million square feet of building space, coordinated and managed the moves of thousands of personnel, and executed some of the most sophisticated aviation projects in the industry.

IDC has also supported GEAE in their globalization, electronic purchasing, safety and Six Sigma goals. IDC has helped in the development of GEAE's Contractor Safety Manual and Program and has worked with several facilities on their OSHA VPP Certification. Our overall safety record for all sites is well below industry standards. IDC's procurement team has worked with GE Sourcing to develop their supplier and subcontractor prequalification documents, local and national blanket order agreements with key suppliers, and master labor agreements with key subcontractors in order to execute their projects in a more timely and economical manner.
