IDC is committed to continuous improvement with a focus on responsive
service to clients, excellence in our deliverables, and competence
and integrity of our employees. Quality is an interactive process,
permeating all aspects of our work.
The most crucial element in providing high-quality services is
meeting or exceeding the expectations of our clients. Therefore,
we begin projects with extensive scope development and goal alignment
efforts to ensure that we have properly planned and organized the
staff, work methods, deliverables, communications and measurement
systems to appropriately respond. Work plans and schedules are then
prepared to a detail level with individual ownership identified
within the project team. IDC continually educates our staff so they
understand that quality is each individuals responsibility.
Key elements of our quality program during design are independent
peer reviews and constructibility reviews. During construction we
maintain quality based on a project-specific quality plan and monitor
proper contract administration.
We document compliance with our quality procedures through pre-and
post-project evaluations, senior design reviews, solicitation of
feedback from all involved in the project, and completion of a final
quality report. Review documentation and reports are distributed
to members of each project team for appropriate follow-up action
and used as a teaching tool to identify ways to further improve
our work methods and results.
